Integrated
Construction for Sustainable Build
The global recession has undoubtedly impacted on construction in the
Middle East, but relative to other economies, the region has been
fortunate. However, now there is an overarching need to improve
efficiency and to address sustainability, throughout the lifecycle of a
project.
Internationally, notably in the USA, Europe and parts of Asia, these
challenges are being met by better integration of the construction
process. The conference examines integration and sustainability across
the industry, with specific focus on interoperability and key industry
sectors.
Attending will give you the knowledge to give your business a
competitive advantage in these demanding times.
Build Smart 2011
Interoperable Construction Process
In order to achieve true integration, interoperable business process and
technology is essential. buildingSMART is the International
Alliance for Interoperability. Acknowledged as the global authority, it
has a worldwide membership of several thousand construction businesses
and industry professionals. Organised in Regional Alliances, this region
is represented by buildingSMART ME.
The conference will address the need for and value of, interoperability
delivered by Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes. It will
demonstrate how this can be achieved in practice using case studies to
illustrate and by facilitating interaction with other conference
streams.
In addition the ongoing training and certification programmes required
to meet the future industry needs will be presented – along with detail
of how these are being developed with government and industry support.
If you intend to secure the future profitability of your business by
adopting BIM, interoperability and integrated construction, then
attendance is a must.
